Rod Hamm scholarship application
Information supplied by the Tournament Committee.
To All Residents of Zone M:
The Rod Hamm Memorial Tournaments are dedicated to the memory of Rod Hamm. Rod was born on July 18, 1970, and tragically killed in an auto accident on October 16, 1988. He played Novice and Atom hockey with the Massey Place Community Association, and then went on to Pee Wee and Bantam with the Saskatoon Zone A Knights. Rod is remembered for his dedication to the game, and his high standards of fair play while participating in hockey.
Proceeds from The Rod Hamm Memorial Tournaments help to fund a scholorship program avaialble to elegible recipients exclusively from the "Aces" Zone.
Hosted at Harold Latrace Arenas. Over the course of the two weekends the Tournamant Committee will be required to fill a total of 264 volunteer spots for penalty box and timekeeper positions. Volunteers are not limited to those who are applying for scholarships. The continued success of this tournament is dependent on volunteers from our community. We hope that you will encourage family and friends to participate in this worthy event. Volunteer sheets are posted at Latrace Arena in the upstairs Lounge. You may drop in, call or email Colette at Tournaments for more information.
